Patient Communication in your Private Practice
Dr. Robinson has been an optometrist for over 20 years working in both private practice and for Bausch and Lomb. Today, she is a key opinion leader for Bausch and Lomb and specializes in contact lenses. She has spoken all over the country at different organizations and schools and is excited be at SCCO! Dr. Robinson will be speaking about the importance of patient communication and how it pertains to the success of your contact lens patients.

A Practical Perspective on Private Practice
We will be having our first meeting of 2019 on Wednesday February 6th with Ron Kemper from VSP and Dr. Tim Jankowski.
Dr. Tim Jankowski, O.D., F.A.A.O. has been in private practice in Huntington Beach since 1981. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry in June 1980 and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Jankowski is a member of the Rio Hondo Optometric Society, the California Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Before joining the Rio Hondo Optometric Society, and while a member of the Long Beach Optometric Society, Dr. Jankowski served as President (twice), Treasurer (twice), Secretary, and Membership Chairman (twice).

This presentation is provided through the Studt Foundation and presented by Dr. Gary Etting. He is an SCCO alumnus and his private practice is known for working with many developmental vision problems and traumatic brain injuries. Please come and join us in this very exciting event.

We are a student-run organization that provides resources and learning opportunities about the art of optometric private practice to students at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. We seek to prepare students throughout their educational career for making a smooth transition into private practice. We promote networking, entrepreneurship, and leadership growth as our members pursue success towards their future endeavors.
