Dr. Werner is the newest member in a multi-generation legacy of optometrists. In 2008, he followed his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather in becoming a doctor of optometry.
A native of Rancho San Diego, Dr. Aaron enjoys living and working in this close-knit community. He graduated from Valhalla High School and studied at San Diego State before earning his doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry. His extensive training encompassed all aspects of optometric care including vision therapy. His passion is working with children and it shows on the faces of all the young patients who see him. Dr. Aaron is fluent in Spanish and is available for appointments Monday through Friday. Outside of the office, Dr. Aaron has a history of being involved with youth sports (wrestling, soccer, baseball, triathlons) and enjoys coaching his children’s teams. He is also an avid runner and triathlete, so feel free to honk and wave hi if you see him running or bicycling along the road. Who are we?We are a student-run organization that provides resources and learning opportunities about the art of optometric private practice to students at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. We seek to prepare students throughout their educational career for making a smooth transition into private practice.
